Apple Users
To activate and add your TCU Mobile ID to your Apple Wallet, you first need an eligible device with a passcode (at a minimum) enabled:
- An Apple ID signed into iCloud (must be your own Apple ID, shared Apple IDs aren’t supported)
- iPhone SE, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, or later running the latest version of iOS
- Apple Watch Series 1, or later, running the latest version of watchOS
Do the following to activate your TCU Mobile ID
- To get started, you must have an approved photo on file for your TCU ID card. Incoming students will have a photo taken at orientation, and some may utilize photo upload.
- Download the GET Mobile app published by The CBORD Group in the Finance category from the App Store. The app logo features the word GET in a circle and is black-and-white.
- Open GET Mobile and select Texas Christian University from the list of institutions
- Log in using your TCU password.
- Choose whether to “Enable Face ID” for your device (you can skip this step)
- Set a PIN for your TCU Mobile ID (you cannot skip this step)
- On the next screen, enter your phone number
- When the sample card appears, click the small “Add to Apple Wallet” icon.
- If you have more than one Apple device, your iPhone may be listed along with Apple Watch and other devices. If you want to authorize these devices, go back through the “Add to Apple Wallet” process again once your iPhone is authorized.
Keep the GET Mobile app on your device to help manage your TCU Mobile ID

Be prepared to share the following when reporting an issue:
- What date/time did the issue occur?
- What issue are you having? Did you encounter an issue in the app, at the reader, or elsewhere?
- Did this issue occur multiple times (i.e., would we be able to reproduce it, or was it a one-time occurrence)?
If you send an email, please include your ID number and clearly describe the issue, including screenshots or videos to help us reproduce it.
Using Your TCU Mobile ID
You do not have to open the wallet to use mobile credentials. If you are using Express Mode, simply point the top of the phone toward the card reader, touch it near the center of the reader, and hold it there until the reader’s light changes color. If you are not using Express Mode, you will have to authenticate each time you access your phone. If you have access to the door, the light will turn green, and you will hear the door unlock, just as it would with a physical card. Should you encounter a reader with a keypad, simply point the top of the phone towards the keypad and touch it.
